Mail Art Call Now Closed

The Pan-Atlantic rowers celebration party is tonight, so the time for submissions is gone. Hopefully these pieces of art will help make a difference to the declining population of Grerat Apes in Cameroon :)

Great Apes Original Monoprint postcard

As the submissions for this Mailart Call were a little less plentiful than we had hoped, I made another piece of art for auctioning at the Pan-Atlantic rowers homecoming party at Bristol Zoo on March 1st. This Postcard is an orginal monoprint, with postage stamps, watercolour and collage.

Niall and James arrive in Antigua.

Good News!!!!
Niall and James are back on dry land; they finished fifth of 15 pairs in the 2007 Atlantic Rowing Race.

We really want to celebrate James and Nialls' great acheivement and raise more money for primate conservation in Cameroon; over the last 50 years the number of Great Apes in Cameroon has decreased by at least 50%. So please do send us art work themed on gorillas/apes etc, rowing and/or the atlantic to help save the Great Apes of Cameroon!!!

Send your art to: Stacey Coombs 'Pan-Atlantic Mailart Call',

Chimps, rowing across the atlantic.

Ok this may not technically count as mailart (as I didn't mail it to myself!), but this is my contribution.
